Artist Living in Tokyo Turns Everyday Scenes into Speed Sketches

Hama-House is an artist and illustrator currently living in Tokyo, Japan. After receiving his BFA from the Kanazawa College of Art, Hama-House has done a broad range of commercial work ranging from: illustration and design for books and magazines to advertising campaigns and promotional videos.

In an ongoing series of daily speed sketches—which he does to improve his drawing skills—Hama-House draws everyday scenes in Tokyo ranging from coffee shops to metro stations and public parks. Hama-House posts his most recent work to Instagram where is amassing a growing following.
